European Parliament of Enterprises
      Second edition: 14 October 2010
The European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE) is an exceptional event organised by EUROCHAMBRES once every two years with the first edition launched on 14 October 2008
The EPE gathers in the Hemicycle of the European Parliament in Brussels as many entrepreneurs as there are Members of the European Parliament, with the same breakdown by country. Some non-EU entrepreneurs also participate as observers.
In addition, the event involves EU Institutions, Chambers of Commerce and international media.
The EPE represents a unique opportunity for businesses to have a direct debate with high representatives of the EU institutions and to provide them with a direct bottom-up feedback on EU policies.
During the EPE entrepreneurs also exercise their voting rights on major EU business-related issues. The topics for voting are the result of ‘cross-comparison’ between the political priorities put forward by the EU institutions and EUROCHAMBRES’ ones.
The results of the votes are presented by EUROCHAMBRES to the relevant political interlocutors from all the EU institutions.
The European Parliament of Enterprises is organised under the high patronage of the President of the European Parliament, the President of the European Council, and the President of the European Commission, with the support of the Presidency of the European Union and in partnership with leading EU media.
