Media and Communications Officer
Eurochambres is looking for a Media and Communications Officer to contribute to the implementation of Eurochambres corporate and project-related communication and visibility activities.
Starting date: September 2025

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Oversee Eurochambres’ external communications via regular and ad hoc publications, media and social media
- Develop implement and monitor communication strategies for various Eurochambres EU-funded projects
- Participation in Eurochambres project related and corporate events, ensuring their media coverage via social media and other media
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in journalism, communications, marketing or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a communications, public relations or marketing specialist
- Proven experience in developing communication strategies/advocacy campaigns/marketing plans
- Practical and direct knowledge of the communications needs of an international association, including experience in converting complex policy content into effective and clear messages
- Capacity to develop, produce and promote multimedia content, including audiovisual
- Graphic design skills to edit corporate and project related publications
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong contacts with journalists, reporters etc
- Experience in social media and website content management
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
- Team player
- Excellent written and spoken English

Financial Project Officer
Eurochambres is looking for a a full-time Financial Project Officer to join the team of the Türkiye-EU Business Dialogue II (TEBD II) project. TEBD II seeks to bring the business communities and chambers of Türkiye and the EU closer together. The project furthermore seeks to ensure higher awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Türkiye’s potential accession to the EU.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of a team of five people, who will jointly manage and implement the different project activities under the guidance of a project director. They will be in charge of the overall and daily financial management of the project:
- Monitor budget expenditures thresholds, support the project team in preparing and managing the financial part of project budget amendments or addenda
- Support the project team in the financial preparation, implementation and reporting of the main activities
- Organise and manage procurement processes together with the project team
- Pre check and verify provider’s invoices with the pertinent supporting documents, prepare their payments
- Forecast cash flow and follow up payments (experts, subcontractors, linking the documents on SharePoint)
- Compile and draft the financial project reports to be submitted to the contracting authority and follow up in case of audits/verifications
- Prepare reporting guidelines and templates for the beneficiaries enabling the latter to submit their financial reports in line with the contract requirements
- Organise and provide financial reporting training for the beneficiaries so that they get acquainted with the financial rules of the TEBD II project
- Assist the project team on PRAG rules and prepare answers to financial questions in the Management Information System
- Monitor the beneficiaries’ financial reporting (Monitoring visits, checking financial reports, invoices, supporting documents, make sure beneficiaries report on time)
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in accounting/ financial management and at least 3 years of work experience in an international environment, or minimum 5 years of financial management experience in EU funded projects
- Strong organisational capacity and the ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical skills, rigorous approach
- Excellent spoken and written English and good knowledge of at least one other European language
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar tools
- Ability to work both in a team or autonomously, and to appreciate and follow priorities
- Availability to travel to different EU countries and to Türkiye
Advantageous
- Knowledge of the Turkish language would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the Practical Guide to Contract Procedures for European Union External Action (PRAG) rules would be an asset.

Requirements
Junior Project Officer must have:
- 1-2 years of experience with the implementation of EU funded projects,
- strong analytical skills,
- strong organisational capacity and the ability to multi-task,
- ability to work both in a team and autonomously,
- capacity to adapt to a changing environment, be flexible and resilient in their approach,
- excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and online meeting tools,
- excellent English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of at least one other European language,
- excellent communication skills and be familiar with social media,
- ability to appreciate and follow priorities.
Project Officer must have:
- all of the requirements listed for the Junior Project Onior officer
- experience in working with business support organisations (or businesses),
- a minimum of 3 years of experience with the implementation of EU funded projects,
- knowledge of European affairs (the functioning of EU institutions and procedures).
