Funding mobility, Driving competitiveness

Join us on 1 July 2026 for the “Funding Mobility, Driving Competitiveness” event. Hosted by European Parliament Vice-President Victor Negrescu and Eurochambres, the event will explore how mobility can empower entrepreneurs, apprentices, and SMEs to innovate, grow, and enhance Europe’s competitiveness. The discussion will showcase the role of EU mobility opportunities in supporting access to new skills, markets, and pathways for scaling up. Representatives from the European Commission will present forthcoming initiatives in the fields of skills, learning and labour mobility, and competitiveness.

A key highlight will be a dialogue between Vice-President Negrescu, entrepreneurs, and apprentices, who will share first-hand experiences of how mobility has shaped their professional and business journeys.

The event will conclude with an interactive exchange with participants on remaining barriers to mobility, improving access for SMEs and individuals, and shaping the future of EU funding for skills, mobility, and competitiveness across Europe.
