EU cross-border services represent only 4% of the EU’s digital economy, which is why creating a connected digital single market is one of the ten priorities of the 2014-19 European Commission. Vice-President Ansip is due to present the Commission’s much-anticipated Digital Single Market Package on 6 May.
Ms Jasmin Battista, member of Vice-President Ansip’s Cabinet will unwrap the package at a EUROCHAMBRES Business Breakfast the following morning, discuss its contents with Chamber representatives and other stakeholders and outline the next steps.
