EU Green Week

On Wednesday 9 June Eurochambres organised an online event jointly with SMEunited to discuss the Zero Pollution Action Plan of the Commission (published 12 May) and its implications on businesses implementing it.

The event was kick-started by President Leitl from EUROCHAMBRES and President Maggiar from SMEunited giving their leading thoughts on the topic of Zero Pollution.

This was followed by spotlighting some highly engaged companies in the field laying out their measures implemented and approach chosen towards zero pollution: The Navigator Company, Duo Display and Rabmer Group

The company pitches laid the optimal foundation for the following panel discussion, which hosted:

• Veronica Manfredi, Director, Directorate-General for Environment, European Commission
• Vladimir Dlouhý, President Czech Chamber of Commerce, Deputy President of EUROCHAMBRES
• Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, VicePresident SMEunited, CEO of Rabmer Group

Speakers were asked to give their insights and opinion on the overall opportunities and challenges posed by the Zero Pollution Action Plan, how businesses can deal with the new goals and what they need for a successful implementation.
