MATCH project – final conference

Migration of African Talents through Capacity building and Hiring (MATCH) is a 36‑month initiative funded by the European Union (EU) aimed at providing highly skilled talents to private sector companies whose needs for qualified staff cannot be satisfied by the offer available on the EU labour market. For the last three years, the Match project has been piloting circular migration schemes between two African (Senegal and Nigeria) and four European countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy).

As a project partner, Eurochambres has been contributing to the implementation of the project and now is organising the final project conference in Brussels on 17 November (9.30-17.30) in a hybrid format. The final project conference will be an opportunity to look at the lessons learned during the project implementation and how schemes like Match can contribute to shaping future labour mobility schemes between Africa and Europe, considering also the European Commission’s initiatives in the field: the talent partnership initiative and the talent pool.
