Sustainability and Circular Economy in Textile Sector
The textile sectorial consortium of the EU4Business: Connecting Companies project will, along with Eurochambres, organize a hybrid conference on 6 October. The conference will focus on sustainability and circularity in the sector, changes, and challenges that SMEs and BSOs are facing, as well as solutions and best practices. During the event, the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles, which was adopted at the beginning of the year, will be presented. Discussions are foreseen on EU and national investments in textile sector innovation.
The textile sectorial consortium of the project has 227 SMEs and 42 Business Support Offices (BSOs) involved. The EU4Business: Connecting Companies project coordinated by Eurochambres drives sustainable economic development and job creation in the Eastern Partnership. This initiative, which has been running since 2019, is organized on a sectoral basis: Wine, Bio-Organic Food, Creative Industries, Tourism and Textiles.
