The Croatian Chamber of Economy opened a new representative office in Austria
On 14 December, the Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) opened a new representative office in Vienna. The office will be shared with the Croatia Tourist Board office, which will provide a stronger platform for common interests and activities. Austria is Croatia's sixth most important export market and fifth most important trading partner. Given that Croatia will soon become a member of the Eurozone and Schengen, economic relations with Austria and the rest of the EU are expected to become even stronger.
“I am sure that our office will strengthen not only our economic ties, but all other types of cooperation between our two countries. It is imperative that entrepreneurs conquer new markets and the CCE is their partner in this way”, said CCE President Luka Burilović.
The expansion of the office network does not happen by chance. One of the main strategic priorities of the Croatian Chamber of Economic is to help with the internationalization of business, which takes place through consultancy in its representative offices abroad in Brussels, Belgrade, Moscow, Mostar, Sarajevo, Shanghai and now in Vienna. “Finding reliable partners, information and distribution channels is not a simple process, especially for companies that are in an early stage of development and that have limited budget. This is precisely the role of our representative office”, emphasised the representative office director Daniela Reinisch.
