In the framework of the European Food Tourism Week, and on the occasion of the Universal Exposition Expo Milan 2015, this Event is meant to bring together the main players in the tourism and food sector (industry representatives, international organisations, NGOs, opinion leaders, small businesses, and national and regional authorities) with the following objectives:
- to provide information on the European Commission policies in preserving and promoting the European know-how in food production, quality food and the quality schemes known as PDO (protected designation of origin), PGI (protected geographical indication) and TSG (traditional specialty guaranteed)
