15/10/2021

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania in partnership with the European Commission Representation in Romania are organizing the conference, under the theme: Capitalizing on the transport on Danube and Black Sea – a sustainable solution for international trade on October 21, 2021, starting with 10.00 A.M. (EEST), in a hybrid format at CCIR Business Center, A. I. Cuza Amphitheater, in Bucharest, Romania.

The maritime transport is an important part of the European Union's economy. Given the importance of developing inland waterways to boost trade and the EU's goals of achieving climate neutrality by 2050, through this event we aim to address both the EU's priorities for the green transition and sustainable transport, and to generate opportunities for business people by stimulating discussions with decision-makers on the development of Constanta Port into a commercial hub on the Black Sea and the transformation of the Danube into a viable alternative for freight transport to the ports of the Black Sea, Baltic Sea, and Adriatic Sea from the Three Seas Initiative.

Agenda

People who will not be able to attend physically the event, at the CCIR’s headquarters, will have the opportunity to watch the conference online.

Participation in the event is free, but registration is mandatory.

The day before the event, registered participants will receive the link to the conference.
