Empowering women entrepreneurs

Nowadays women entrepreneurs represent a substantial part of entrepreneurs across Europe. Despite their growing presence on the business environment, activities are seldom targeted to support women entrepreneurs in their needs. It is important, therefore, to continue discussing the state of play for women entrepreneurship across Europe to determine which instruments are needed to support them overcome the challenges that they often face. The reflection on women entrepreneurship cannot be complete without hearing from them directly what kind of support they need, what obstacles they have to overcome, and what activities could be implemented in order to create a level playing field for women who are doing business.

The "Empowering women entrepreneurs" event brought together women entrepreneurs across Europe and let them discuss directly around 4 topics related to the changes that they need to apply to their business models in order to adapt to a fast developing business world, economic, digital, social and green transition.
